Ankle Socks
Sporty Comfort, Everyday Simplicity
Ankle socks sit just above the shoe line: enough cover to stop the back of a trainer rubbing, low enough to stay out of sight with shorts or rolled trousers.
Choose alpaca if you run cold or find wool itchy. It has no lanolin and a smooth fibre, and it's warm for its weight. Choose merino if your feet run warm or you want one sock for every season; it breathes and regulates temperature through a long day. Both resist odour, so a pair can usually be aired and worn again.
